01 in-browser cutout · nothing uploaded
Drop an image. Keep the subject, lose the rest.
Drag the handle to watch a background disappear. When you are ready, drop your own photo in below. It all runs in your browser, so nothing you upload ever leaves your computer.

PNG, JPG, or WEBP. Handled right here on your machine.
03 how it works
-
01
Drop it in
Drag a photo in, click to browse, or paste one straight from your clipboard. It stays on your computer the whole time.
-
02
Cut it out
A model works out where your subject stops and the background starts, then clears out everything behind it.
-
03
Save the PNG
Grab a transparent PNG. Or, if you'd rather, drop a solid color in behind your subject first.
04 privacy
Your photos stay on your computer.
Most background removers upload your image to a server to do the work. anikbg doesn't bother with any of that. The whole model runs inside your browser with WebAssembly, so there's no upload step and nothing of yours left sitting on someone else's machine afterward. Whatever you drop in stays with you.
